Dr. David Britton
Dr. Britton is an accomplished scientist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the field of proteomics, cancer research, and technology commercialisation.
He has built technical teams across multiple organisations, including Kinomica Limited, where he served as co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer.
With deep understanding of the field and its challenges, and a proven track record in founding and scaling life sciences companies, leading R&D programmes from discovery to application, and translating complex proteomic data into clinical and commercial impact.
Dr. Britton is recognised for bridging academic research, precision medicine, and biotech innovation through strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic vision.
Dr. Nick Morrice
Dr. Nick Morrice obtained his PhD from the University of London in 1987 and after 7 years at the University of Melbourne in Australia, joined the MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit at the University of Dundee with Professor Sir Philip Cohen.
He set up the proteomics facility for both the University of Dundee and the MRC Unit.
He moved to Beatson Institute for Cancer Research In 2010 as Head of Proteomics and Group Leader.
After setting up a successful proteomics and metabolomics facility he joined Sciex in 2014 as a senior support specialist for proteomics.
He was the Global Support Specialist for Proteomics delivering training on the 7600 ZenoTOF system in many high profile laboratories.
Dr. Nick Morrice has published over 200 papers in the field of signal transduction and proteomics and has been a member of a number of scientific societies such as The Biochemical Society a the ABRF.
